Dr Farshid Niknam has extensive experience and advanced certificates in both skin cancer detection and skin cancer surgery. Dr Niknam can also perform minor skin procedures to remove non-cancerous growths such as lipomas (fatty lumps), cysts, scar removal and moles (for cosmetic reasons). He also performs ingrown toenail surgery.
His other interest includes management of vein disease (including varicose veins). Dr Niknam has board-certification in Phlebology from the College of Phlebology of Australasia. Vein conditions that Dr Niknam can treat include Varicose Veins, Spider Veins, Pelvic Vein Congestion, Venous Malformation, Varicose Vein Eczema and Ulcers.
Dr Niknam practices a holistic approach to medicine. He can converse in several languages – English, Persian and Turkish.
